Help Us
We help those who need it most
Assisting us to assist others is a lasting way to help the most disadvantaged and needy in our community. We have a nationwide network of workers and helpers who provide practical assistance every day to people in desperate situations. Help is offered to all, regardless of origin, cultural background or religious belief.
The Society is a Catholic organisation which recently celebrated over 150 years of compassion and service to the people of New Zealand. Your help will ensure the Society’s vital work of charity and justice continues to thrive. Be assured it will make a huge difference where the need is greatest.

DONATE
Right now we need your help. While we operate with low administration costs and rely on the good work of hundreds of members and volunteers, we nevertheless need cash to survive and continue to help people.
BEQUESTS
Making provision in your Will to donate to St Vincent de Paul is a way to honour the community you live in. You can be certain that your final act of generosity will help make a real difference for New Zealanders. Big or small, your bequest will be greatly appreciated.
VOLUNTEER
Volunteer to visit those who need support and assistance or volunteer in one of our Centres or Shops. Our volunteers and members visit people on the streets, in prisons, hospitals. They visit people in their homes, assisting the elderly, the disabled and the lonely.
"Poverty is not a lack of character. It is a lack of money. A lack of opportunity. A lack of investment. It is when society turns its back and makes you invisible."
